Tektites are small black, glassy rocks that are believed to be formed when a meteor strike throws terrestrial material back out of the atmosphere and then it reenters as a meteorite. They are usually several centimeters in diameter and are either round- or rod-shaped. This kit is recommended for ages 6 and above.
